You clearly have no idea and to be honest the education system in the States is one of privilege- who can pay gets the best education. I have a daughter who lives in America so I guess listening to them. I don’t know what state you live in, here my great-grandchildren get about 15 minutes for free play. The rest of the time they are sitting in the classroom learning the test. Not the real basics of Reading and Math. That’s why American children are ignorant of real life. And before someone tries to tell me different, I taught for 12 years in the ’70s to the ’80s, raised 3 children, helped to raise 8 grandchildren and am helping to raise 9 great-grandchildren.
